Russ earned his Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from Kent State University and furthered his education with an M.B.A. focused on Information Systems Management from Northern Kentucky University

As a proud member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Russ has been certified as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) since February 2017.
